From session times to travel details, we’ve got the answers to your most common questions. If you need anything else, just reach out—we’re here to help!

When is the conference?

Main Conference: September 8, 2025

Registration: 7:30 AM
Conference: 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM
After Party: 4:15 PM – 6:15 PM

Workshops: September 9, 2025, 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM

Where do I apply to speak?

What makes a strong submission?

We love:

Real-world AI applications improving lives
Interactive sessions
Panels or co-presenters
Speakers from underrepresented communities (women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, etc.)

We're less excited about:

Broad overviews or “whirlwind tours” – we prefer depth over breadth
Sales pitches for tools or services (mentioning your company or showing a demo is fine, but keep it educational)
Non-AI topics (this isn’t the place for general motivational talks)

Need special accommodations for your presentation (e.g., flip charts, activity space, a Batman costume)?

How long are the sessions? What times are available?

Conference Sessions (9/8):

55-minute slots (presenters choose time split between content & Q&A)

11:00 – 11:55 AM
1:00 – 1:55 PM
2:10 – 3:05 PM

Workshop Sessions (9/9):

2-hour hands-on workshops

Available times:

9:00 – 11:00 AM
12:00 – 2:00 PM

We’re open to creative ideas, but here are some suggested topics:

Are speakers compensated?

At AI Rising, we believe speakers shouldn’t pay to share their expertise.

Complimentary hotel stay at the conference center (if needed)
Reimbursement for reasonable travel costs (IRS guidelines apply)
Free conference tickets for all speakers and co-presenters
